Everyone dreads the staged family photo, you know the one – you and your brothers/sisters/cousins all line up against the best looking wall or the least shabby sofa for an awkward shot that has as much charisma as Adrian Chiles on valium.
Even worse though is the repeat photo, the one where many years later someone suggests that you recreate that original shot to ‘see how we all changed’. Sometimes this can be a beautiful thing, more often than not though, it isn’t.
